Does anyone have a PEO recommendation for a small consumer products company (20 employees/$20 million revenue) located in Ocean County, NJ? I appreciate your inputs.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,
We recently went with Extensis PEO. The employee benefits were very good and we were able to reduce our overall costs compared to the renewal with our previous benefits carrier, including the PEO fee. Contact Jan Kaupas, VP of Sales, at [email protected] or by phone at 732-634-1910 ext. 8790 and mention my name. Good luck.

We used to use Trinet, but it was very expensive at ~$135 per employee per year. We switched to JustWorks about 18 months ago, it's $49 per employee per year and the benefits were cheaper for the same levels of coverage.

If I don't pick up the call, - please leave a voice message with the best phone number to call and the best time.
FYI - I am in CA, so there is a 3 hour time difference.

Kevin,
We recently went with ADP... our transition was difficult and support was not what I expected.

When considering the PEO, consider other benefits as well, especially 401K admin. I can't speak for Extensis, but I know Oasis is a ripoff. ADP did have a good 401K plan. Most PEO's get you with the fees. If they don't get you with the fees, ten the service is usually not so good. I have, on two occasions, been hosed by PEO's with teaser rates in the first year, only to have large increases in the next year. So, you may see some significant savings your first year, but may often lose those savings in the next year. Make sure you read all the fine prints, and try to get rate locks for as long as you can. YOu may email me at [email protected] with other questions.

Joe
