Hello all,
I enjoyed the FENG Job Club meeting today in London. The following resources I have found extremely useful in my job search to date. I shared them with the FENG UK Job Club. I hope other FENG members find this useful.
1. Manager Tools
Manager Tools is a management consulting firm whose dual mission is to make every manager effective and every professional productive.
Manager Tools and Career Tools are free weekly podcasts designed to give managers and individual contributors actionable recommendations to further their careers.
Manager Tools the company is a management consulting and training firm owned by Michael Auzenne and Mark Horstman. We regularly consult to and train managers in Fortune 1000 companies around the world. Mike and Mark are both United States Military Academy graduates (West Point) and former Army officers. Mike’s corporate career included executive assignments in technology and Program Management for MCI and Bell Atlantic as well as several entrepreneurial pursuits in the restaurant and retail fitness industries. Mark was a manager and executive in sales and marketing at Procter & Gamble. Prior to Manager Tools, Mark performed Executive Coaching and Consulting as a sole owner for 15+ years.
The podcasts and forums are free, register and get access. There are a few paid resources like the resume workbook, but you can do it all for free listening to the podcasts.

The evidence suggests a job seeker is more likely to find a job quicker working in a job hunt club with like-minded people. There are job clubs all over the UK and worth investigating. For example:
